All prices are in GBP and are plus VAT at 20%. Founding sponsor rates are about a third off: book by 30 November 2026 and you get the founding price for any dates up to 28 February 2027.

Short, labelled listings in the daily email.

  • Event: a line and link in "This week in York", per issue. £10 + VAT (founding £7 + VAT)

Saturday classifieds

A classifieds section in the Weekend Wrap Up. Up to 30 words of plain text plus a link or phone number. Good for local services, tradespeople, clubs, rooms to let and items for sale.

How it works

  1. Email us with your business, the package and your dates. We confirm and send a VAT invoice, payable by bank transfer before your slot runs.
  2. Send your words and link two working days before. We're happy to help write them.
  3. Afterwards, we send you the opens and clicks for your issues.

All paid content is labelled "Sponsored", and sponsors don't buy news coverage. We only take ads that suit a local news email, and slots go to whoever books first.
