☀️ Weather - Red & Amber Heat Warnings - York hits 33°C today under a UKHSA amber health alert covering all of Yorkshire and the Humber (1am Wednesday to 11pm Thursday). A rare red extreme heat warning covers England as far north as Birmingham — it doesn't quite reach York, but it's driving the rail disruption below. Cooler by Thursday (29°C), then 31°C Friday with heavy rain likely as the heat finally breaks, dropping to 22°C by Sunday. Met Office York
